A cabinet of the same wood and finish as the switch-board is provided for the installation of the necessary number ofMason arresters. The connections between the switchboard and the protector cabinetshould be made bv means of 20-pair cable, rubber insulated, withcode color braid. Over the entire cable is a waterproof covering forprotection and insulation. The color scheme is similar to that givenfor switchboard installation and should be carefully followed, asstated therein. The foniis for both the switchboard and protector ends should becarefully laced, each wire being brought out at its particular linespring ()!• arrester. The switchboard end should be carefully solderedafter the wire is passed through the hole and wrapped around thespring.
