The shops have been sur-rounded by a 6-inch water main with two and three wayhydrants located at convenient points outside the building anda sufficient number of hose connections located in the variousdepartments of the shops. Pressure is sup-plied by an underwriters fire pump located in the power house.The design and construction of the shops were under thegeneral supervision of H. A.
