LEAFLETS FOR ADVERTISING Another series of advertising was begun by the companyabout the first of the year. This consisted of leaflets 5 in.x 834 in-> printed on brown manila paper and issuedweekly. The wording is appropriate to the season. Thusthat issued on Jan. 4, 1911, during the holiday season, wasentitled The Days of Our Youth. It gave a short sketchof the pantomimes and fairy plays then being given atthe different theaters. The leaflet of Feb. 8 reminded thereader that Feb. 7 was Dickens birthday. It then told ofseveral streets and localities in London which had beenmade famous by Dickens and the way in which they couldbe reached by the underground railway.
