Description

Elaeocarpus angustifolius One of the many Australian native plants growing on the site of the Woodford Folk Festival.

  • About the size of a cherry, the fruit is edible, but perhaps an acquired taste, and consists mainly of seed.
  • The textured seed, on the other hand, may be used for necklaces or Chinese checkers, and has a religious significance in Asian countries!
