Description
English: Salvador 1895 unadopted essay. Depicting Antonio Ezeta, brother of the president, Carlos Ezeta. These stamps had been printed but not delivered when Ezeta was overthrown in a coup on June 9, 1894. The printer was authorized to overprint the entire issue with the coat of arms of El Salvador (Scott #105-116).
