Description
English: El Salvador 1890 12.5c wrapper imprinted stamp depicting the allegorical figure of El Salvador. The wrappers for printed matter, letter cards, and postal cards of 1890 - 1899 were printed by the Hamilton Bank Note Co. in New York. To the order of N. F. Seebeck, who held a contract for stamps and postal stationery with the government of El Salvador. Of each issue essays and varieties were produced. Reprints of some of the adopted colors were made too, Seebeck had the contractual right.
