Summary

[edit]
Description

It translates as the Spanish Village. This area in Barcelona was constructed for the World Exposition of 1929 with the intention of demonstrating the architecture and essence of the Spanish culture.

The idea was to recreate a traditional Iberian town that showed the types of buildings, squares and streets of different places in Spain.

It became a big attraction and thousands visit every day. My photo was taken in 2001, on film and using a Nikkormat with 50mm f2.0 lens.
