Description
Español: El Mercurio de Valparaíso fue fundado por Pedro Felix Vicuña en 1827 en esa ciudad, sólo 15 años después del primer periodisco nacional, La Aurora de Chile. En 1880 fue adquirido por Agustin Edwards Ross y el 1 de junio de 1900 apareció el primer número para la ciudad de Santiago.
