Description
Español: El jaguar es una especie en peligro de extinción, ha desaparecido de más del 60% del área que ocupó en México, su población estimada es de menos de 5 mil individuos a nivel nacional. Su conservación beneficia a miles de otras especies de plantas y animales silvestres de México. Es el felino más grande en América y el tercero en el mundo (después del tigre y el león), el color de su piel varía de amarillo pálido a café rojizo y cambia a blanco en el pecho y en la parte interna de las extremidades. En todo el cuerpo presenta manchas negras, que en los costados cambian en rosetas.
