Summary
English: Archduke Leopold Wilhelm Visiting his Collection in Brussels by David Teniers the Younger, 1651–1653. Oil on canvas. This painting expresses the idea, broached by Teniers in the second half of the 17th century, of keeping art collections as sets of homogeneous or complementary works, an idea that José Lázaro was to share. It was probably acquired during Lázaro's residence in Paris.
