Bahasa Indonesia: Gedung Padangsche Spaarbank didirikan pada 1908. Gedung berlantai dua dengan tinggi 35 meter ini bergaya neoklasik yang mendapat pengaruh dari arsitektur art-deco. Padangsche Spaarbank sempat menjadi Hotel Batang Arau yang dikelola pasangan Amerika Cris Scurrah dan Christine Florance. Di salah satu ruangnya yang dijadikan kamar hotel masih dapat dilihat kotak brankas peninggalan bank zaman Hindia Belanda itu. |
