Summary
[edit]La Madre de los Dolores (Our Lady of Sorrows: Sunburst diadem, eyes up, mouth open, right hand at clavicle, left extended palm-up, metal heart pinned to chest; blue-and-gold robe, blue mantle). Because of the heart, the santo should be compared to those of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Wood, gesso, paint; glass eyes, lashes, sculpted teeth, fabric garments; life size.
On the statue's stand is sculpted ESCULTOR AMADOR RAMIREZ.
