Description
English: Springfield Armory exhibit case, top-to-bottom:
  • Eisenhower M14, is a presentation model built specifically for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Army customarily gave each new United States President a special rifle made at Springfield Armory.
  • Davis Rifle, as it is referred to, is an experimental model of French manufacture. When Confederate President Jefferson Davis was captured after fleeing the fallen capital at Richmond, Virginia, he had this weapon in his possession.
  • Sharps Carbine of the late-Civil War era.
  • Fake Matchlock is representative of the type of firearm used in the period when Plymouth and Jamestown were settled.
