An evening juxtaposition in Eisenach, Summer 1991. Class 232 Locos from the works at Voroshilovgrad (now Lugansk) and Deutsche Reichsbahn carriages snuggle toether behind this dwarf signal and other symbols for the Eisenbahner to heed. . Another "Zwergsignal" was seen at Bad Salzungen the next day. A day or so previously, the white house in Moscow had been under attack and the future of the USSR was unclear.... |
