Français : Lille (France - (département du Nord). Première Guerre Mondiale (en Octobre 1914 lors du Siège de Lille). Carte postale d'Alfred Grohs ayant pour titre "Démolition d'une maison en état de péril à Lille". Nous sommes, rue de Paris, actuelle rue Pierre Mauroy, sous le balcon du N°53 de la rue. À droite, la rue des Ponts de Comines. Après les alignements des maisons de gauche, on arrive sur la place du Théâtre. Actuellement la rue Pierre Mauroy parait plus large, le côté de droite a dû être rectifié ; de Plus l'immeuble demi-rond entre la rue Faidherbe et la rue Pierre Mauroy est moins large -côté place du Théâtre- que celui qui fut démoli durant cette guerre. L'espace en question a souvent été pris en photo (Café Jean). On aperçoit en filigrane le beffroi de la Chambre de Commerce. |
