Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Eilean Dubh Beag The "wee black island" (so called to distinguish it from the larger Eilean Dubh further up the loch) in Loch Dunvegan is seen beyond the house, called Tobar Eòin after the nearby well. The wing on the right was originally a police cottage, strategically located next to the jetty where incoming passengers and goods for the settlement were landed. The anchorage in the foreground dries at low tide and is used for smaller craft.
