Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A decorated pebble placed atop the eighteenth-century gravestone located to the south of the Church of Saint Thomas the Apostle in Harty, Swale. The image on the pebble is based upon the skull depicted on the gravestone itself. The stone was photographed during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and is probably part of a broader tradition of decorating pebbles and placing them in public locations which spread throughout various parts of Britain during the pandemic.
