Summary
[edit]DescriptionEight coats-of-arms relief on the former National Overseas Bank (53756949911).jpg | A relief showing eight coats-of-arms of the Portuguese Empire, with the Portuguese coat-of-arms in the centre top, and the coasts-of-arms of Portuguese Macau, Cape Verde, Portuguese Guinea, Portuguese Mozambique, Portuguese India, Portuguese São Tomé and Príncipe and Portuguese Timor shown clockwise from it. The former Banco Nacional Ultramarino (National Overseas Bank) was a bank of issue for these Portuguese overseas territories. Angola is not depicted because it had a separate issuing bank. This relief is on the former bank building in Baixa de Lisboa (downtown Lisbon) in Lisboa (Lisbon), Portugal. The building is now the Museu do Design e da Moda (MUDE) (Design and Fashion Museum). |
