English: Sr-Nd isotope diagram showing the distribution of ehrwaldite dykes (red crosses). Plotted also the compositional range of basanites from the Massif Central (green), the Hegau (black cross), the Siebengebirge (blue cross) and the Kaiserstuhl (purple cross). Note the close relationship of the ehrwaldites with these magmatites. The green area shows the compositional range of the mantle array (MORB and OIB).
Deutsch: Sr-Nd Isotopendiagramm der Ehrwaldite (rote Kreuze). Dargestellt sind ferner die Zusammensetzungen von Basaniten des Zentralmassivs (grün), des Hegaus (schwarzes Kreuz), des Siebengebirges (blaues Kreuz) und des Kaiserstuhls (violettes Kreuz). Beachtenswert die enge Verwandtschaft der Ehrwalditgänge mit den angeführten Magmatiten. Der grüne Bereich gibt die Zusammensetzungen des Mantle Array (MORB und OIB) wider. |
