Description
Deutsch: Wohnhaus in geschlossener Bebauung; um 1831. Beispiel bürgerlichen Wohnens um 1800, von baugeschichtlichem und stadtentwicklungsgeschichtlichem Wert. Fachwerk-Obergeschoss. Das Wohnhaus ist Teil eines zeitgleich entstandenen Straßenzuges, der ursprünglich als Gerbergasse bezeichnet wurde. Nachdem 1632 die Gasse abbrannte, wurde sie als Ehrenzug bezeichnet. Das Wohnhaus Ehrenzug 3 wurde vermutlich um 1831 erbaut. 1831 ist als erster Eigentümer der Leineweber Friedrich August Quaas überliefert. Zweigeschossiger Fachwerkbau mit massivem, verputzten Erdgeschoss, Türportal und Fenstereinfassungen vermutlich nachträglich verändert bzw. heute teils überstrichen, Obergeschoss Fachwerk mit Eckstreben in gutem Originalzustand, Satteldach, Giebeldreieck verbrettert. Als typisches kleinstädtisches Wohnhaus der Zeit um 1800 erlangt das Gebäude einen baugeschichtlichen Wert, als Teil eines zeitgleich entstandenen Straßenzuges kommt ihm auch städtebauliche Bedeutung zu.
