Deutsch: Ansicht der ehemaligen deutsch-deutschen Landesgrenze in Mödlareuth. Diese ist heute in ein Freilichtmuseum umgewandelt, das vor wenigen Jahren umgebaut wurde. Heute ist die ehemalige Landesgrenze begehbar und der Aufbau erhalten. Hier sieht man die Mauer (links) und den Zaun (rechts). Während der Zaun schwerer zu überwinden ist, ist die Mauer links so konzipiert, dass sich die Röhre leicht lösen lässt und auf die Leute, die die Grenze überwinden wollten, fällt oder anderweitig stört. (Info: In den Metadaten der Kamera steht 2022 als Jahr der Erstellung; gemeint ist natürlich 2023).
English: View of the former German-German border in Mödlareuth. This is now converted into an open-air museum, which was rebuilt a few years ago. Today, the former national border can be walked on and the structure is preserved. Here you can see the wall (left) and the fence (right). While the fence is more difficult to cross, the wall on the left is designed so that the tube can be easily detached and fall or otherwise interfere with people trying to cross the border. (Info: The camera's metadata says 2022 as the year of creation; what is meant is, of course, 2023). |
