Magyar:
Cukorgyár ipar- rakodóvágányok vége. Az Ercsi Cukorgyárat 1912-ben alapította a gróf Wimpffen Sigfrid, és a Dunántúlon több cukorgyárral rendelkező Patzenhofer család. A két világháború és a gazdasági válság alatt a gazdaság komoly károkat szenvedett, a cukorgyár alig termelt, az uradalmi birtok pangott. A cukorgyárat 1948-ban államosították. Az üzem a 1960-as években élte virágkorát. Az Ercsi Cukorgyár eredeti tevékenységét 1997-ben fejezte be, a gyárat eladták. A cukorgyártás céljára alkalmas létesítmények és ipari infrastruktúra teljes egészében megmaradtak. Jelenleg a vasútállomás mellett fekvő, a közterületekről szinte nem is látható területen több vállalkozás tevékenykedik.
