Neophron percnopterus commonly known as the Egyptian Vulture is also called the White Scavenger Vulture or Pharaoh's Chicken. This is a common species widely distributed from Europe to India. While the mature bird has a distinctive white mantle, the juvenile / sub adult are more brownish than white. Seen in Beel Akbarpur, Dadri, UP.
