[edit]DescriptionEgyptian Hunting Boomerangs Tutankhamun 2019.jpg |
This is a set of Egyptian hunting boomerangs found in king Tutankhamun's mostly intact KV62 tomb among his funerary goods. These hardwood boomerangs could not return to their hunter due to their curvature unlike other boomerangs found in Tutankhamun's tomb. It is one of the many treasures found from the burial of Tutankhamun who ruled during the powerful Eighteenth Dynasty of Egypt period of Egypt’s New Kingdom era. This photo was taken at "Toutânkhamon, le trésor du pharaon" Mars-Septembre 2019, Grande Halle de La Vilette” Exposition in Paris, France, by Mr. Claude Valette |
