Description
English:  : World War II memorial (called also Cumanian Piéta) by Sándor Györfi (1992 bronze statue on a circa two meters high granite base, part of the monument a six limestone columns (over five meteres high) created colonnad; the colonnad carved by Attila Szilágyi (stonemason)). The statue shows: a dying soldier and his mother. On the base are the names of the victims and their age and 'Eternal memory of 446 Karcag Jewish martyrs murdered in death camps and laborers.' - Kossuth square, Downtown, Karcag, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary.
