Vervaardiging Vervaardiger: prentmaker: Crispijn van de Passe (II), uitgever: Crispijn van de Passe (II) (toegeschreven aan) Datering: ca. 1636 - 1670 Fysieke kenmerken: gravure; proefdruk Materiaal: papier Techniek: graveren (drukprocedé) Afmetingen: plaatrand: h 175 mm × b 242 mm Toelichting Deze incomplete serie, bestaande uit 77 van de in totaal 85 prenten met scènes uit Ovidius' Metamorfosen, werd in 1709 samen met Ovidius-illustraties van Tempesta, Goltzius en Le Pautre in één album, Schijnvoet nummer 43, ingebonden. In de negentiende eeuw werd deze band weer uit elkaar gehaald.
