Summary
[edit]DescriptionEen middag aan zee-an afternoon at sea (1471631643).jpg |
Untill 1976 a theater named 'Seinpost Theater' stood on this dune. This theater was designed by Q. Wesstra and built in 1866. After the demolition of the theater in 1976 a exclusive restaurant with the same name opened here her doors. The sculpture of Neptunus is the original figurehead of the theater. In 1881 painter Mesdag made here his famous 'Panorama Mesdag'. |
