Edward I class 10ab5 North 1039/3
Description
English: Edward I silver penny dates from 1303-05. North 1039/3 class 10ab5. It is of the late issue due to the angular S and 2nd style R and a new style letter A. The crown is a type III which is larger and cruder than the previous crowns of the class. Also the letter E is round and the letter C is angular. The initial mark is a cross Pattee. The ob legend reads as EDWAR R ANGL DNS hYB. The coin has no terminal stops and small crescent contraction marks after R and R. The coin is of the Canterbury mint with the rev legend reading as CIVI TAS CAN TOR.

The diameter is 18mm and the weight 1.11g.
