English: A Medieval copper alloy English jetton, dating to AD 1280 - 1340. The centre pf the jetton is pierced. Obverse: The obverse depicts a kings head and bust facing - it is very stylised - the crown is formed with a high lis formed of three pellets arranged as a trefoil, the side fleurs are bi-foliate and look like antlers / horns. There is a boarder of pellets. |
