Description
English: A hammered silver penny of Edward 1st circa 1272-1307 probably class 3c. The obverse has a facing crowned bust in the central field with a cross pattee initial mark then the inscription EDW R ANGL DNS HYB . The Reverse has a long cross extending to the edges of the coin with three pellets in each quarter. The inscription reads CIVI TAS CAN TOR (Canterbury mint). North number 1018.
