English: Cpl. Ryan Collins, a driver operator with Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., and a Marietta, Calif., native, explains the airborne capabilities of the Marine Corps to Jason Ginoza, of Clark County School District, Nev., June 27. Educators from the San Diego and Salt Lake City regions joined together during a weeklong Educators Workshop. In addition to learning about recruit life and tactical training, educators explored the airborne capabilities of the Marine Corps. The educators started their day with the opportunity to ask questions to Marines stationed aboard MCAS Miramar, followed by a tour of the enlisted recreation center and library. After a look into barracks life, the educators moved to the flight line to explore an F/A-18 Hornet, a CH-53E Super Stallion and an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting truck.
