Summary

Description

FGM/C is a powerful social norm that has been carried out for thousands of years. To try and break the cycle, the Burkina Faso government have included FGM/C in the curriculum to teach both boys and girls about the consequences of cutting when they’re at school.

The UK is working to reduce the practice by 30% in at least 10 countries in Africa in the next 5 years. Find out more about our work: bit.ly/1krV9Qk
