English: The German pianist, conductor and composer Eduard Zuckmayer (1890–1972) directs the choir and the orchestra of Schule am Meer (= School by the Sea) in its own theater hall. In 1929 it was projected by Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948) and built in 1930/31 on the German island of Juist in East Frisia which was part of Prussia at that time.
Deutsch: Der deutsche Pianist, Dirigent und Komponist Eduard Zuckmayer (1890–1972) dirigiert den Chor und das Orchester des reformpädagogischen Landerziehungsheims Schule am Meer in deren schuleigener Theaterhalle, 1929 geplant und 1930/31 errichtet durch Bruno Ahrends (1878–1948), im Loog auf der Nordseeinsel Juist, Ostfriesland. – Links direkt neben dem Dirigenten am Violoncello Oswald Graf zu Münster Freiherr von Grothaus (1917–2003), bei den Geigern links neben dem Dirigenten an vierter Stelle Jens Jürgen Rohwer (1914–1994).
