Español: Edificio Central Park en Barracas, Buenos Aires, pintado por el artista Pérez Célis. El edificio data del año 1889, donde funcionaba la Compañía General de Fósforos. A partir de 1928 comienza a funcionar en la antigua fábrica de Barracas, los talleres gráficos Compañía General Fabril Financiera, que cierra por quiebra en el año 1993. El inmueble fue adquirido por la desarrolladora Edelven en 1996, y en 1998 el complejo Central Park fur inaugurado, siendo hoy uno de los edificios de oficinas más grande de Argentina, con 55.000 m2 cubiertos. En 2005 finaliza una nueva ampliación a cargo del estudio Brunzini-Enea Spilimbergo.
English: Edificio Central Park, an office building in the Barracas ward of Buenos Aires. Originally built in 1889 as the General Match Company (Compañía General de Fósforos) factory, it was sold in 1928 to the Fabril Financiera printing establishment. Fabril Financiera ceased operations in 1993, the building was acquired by Edelven developers in 1996, and in 1998 the Central Park building was inaugurated; with nearly 600,000 sq ft of office space, it became one of the largest such buildings in Argentina. A significant expansion was carried out in 2005 by Brunzini-Enea Spilimbergo architects. The exterior was decorated by artist Pérez Célis. |
