English: This is a projection objective "Sankar" produced for German optical company "Ed. Liesegang OHG", Duesseldorf (Germany) for their slide projectors. The aperture is given as 1:2.5, focal length 85mm, coated lenses. This type of all-metal projection objectives was commonly used in the Liesegang slide projectors of the 1950 and 1960s. Diameter of the tubus: 37mm. In contrast to the more frequently used Patrinast projection objective, the Sankar is a "faster" model with a bigger aperture (1:2.5 vs. 1:2.8). (full view) |
