Description
Nederlands: Omschrijving: Economie, aandelen, beurzen. Het begin van de grote depressie (economische crisis van de jaren '30). De beurs van New York in Wall Street na de krach, herfst 1929: een schoonmaker veegt met een bezem de vloer aan, die vol ligt met verkreukelde en verscheurde kranten en ander papier. Verenigde Staten van Amerika, 1929 [nader onderzoek van het interieur van de beurs in Wall Street is nodig om te bepalen of deze afbeelding daadwerkelijk uit 1929 is. De lichte balk rechtsboven maakt deel uit van een scherm. Dergelijke schermen waren in ieder geval aanwezig in de jaren '50 en '60 en zijn ook nog zichtbaar op een foto die in 1975 gemaakt is; en overigens lag na een goede beursdag de vloer ook bezaaid met papier] Let op! Origineel bevat een raster.
