Summary

[edit]
Description

Solar eclipse photo from 2 July 2019 (I know my camera date is wrong). Shot in Vicuna, Chile with Nikon D750 w/ 2x teleconverter and Nikon 500mm f/8; 1/13s exposure.

Shots 1402-1406 are different exposures for the end of solar eclipse totality. In this shot, you can see the lens distortions creating interesting patterns and colors. If you zoom in, you can see the hills and valleys of the moon.
