Français : Machine destinée à écanguer le lin (séparer la filasse de la paille) : « L’opération du teillage fut complétée par le passage au moulin flamand ou écangueuse. Le moulin flamand se compose d’une roue verticale portant à la périphérie des
écangues ou sortes de battes en bois mince. Il est animé d’un rapide mouvement de rotation et les écangues viennent frapper les poignées de lin qu'un ouvrier présente au moulin en les maintenant sur une planche verticale munie d’une échancrure.
