Notes Giovanni Battista Gisleni (design), Matthias Walbaum, Hermann Potthoff (silver plates). The silver plates depicts the scenes from the life of Christ and the altar's dome was crowned with a silver White Eagle. It was intended as a palace chapel altar and was donated by the Queen together with a painted wardrobe (sepet) to the newly established church and monastery of the French Order of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Warsaw. Since that time it serves as a tabernacle.
