Located on Yonge Street in central Toronto, Eaton Centre is a major urban shopping complex. And I happen to be staying just a block away. Outside the walls, I see two billboards from Eaton Centre location of UK-based HMV Records. They are advertising new album releases from two recording artists who both happen to be Canadian; on the left is Taking Chances, the newest studio album from Québec's pride and joy Céline Dion, and on the right is Closer, a "best of" compilation from Sarah McLachlan, Order of Canada and Order of British Columbia, who was born in Halifax and currently lives in Vancouver. I do enjoy both recording artists, Sarah Mac in particular. |
