Summary

English: Easy rapids by East Lendings In this photo taken at low water, you can see the small rocksteps which make for interesting waves for playing on at higher water. The usual paddling route is river right upstream of this point, then dropping down these steps in mid-river. The lower step, in particular, is good for beginners to practice ferry gliding to the right (near) bank. Although the caravan site offers a good view of the rapids, it is not a good base for canoeists as a steep rocky bank restricts access to the river. |
