| Description |
English: Easton Pumping Station. This is right next to the M3 on the south side. There are bore holes on both sides of the M3; I don't know if the station pumps from these or from the River Itchen. There is chlorine storage, so it may treat as well as pump. A Southern Water notice says it "serves 49,000 people 24 hours a day". Shown, but not marked as a pumping station, on the OS map. |
