Description
English: Eastleigh railway station

The interior view of the station featured, is of the bridge which crosses the railway tracks.

Eastleigh Railway Station,in Eastleigh,Hampshire, is a Victorian building built in 1839-40 and is built in a simple Italianate style.

In 1842 it became known as Bishopstoke Junction when a new line to Gosport and Portsmouth was opened. The growth of the town was linked to the building of carriages and engine workshops. It became a village of railway workers.
