Description
Suomi: Itä-Hervanta ilmasta käsin. Kuvaussuunta etelä. Oikeassa laidassa kauppakeskus, jonka vasemmalla puolella on Hervannan valtaväylä. Keskellä edessä Poliisikoulu ja Poliisiammattikorkeakoulun uudisrakennus. Tämän yläpuolella VTT:n tutkimuslaitos. VTT:n yläpuolella Tampereen teknillisen yliopiston kampus. Kuvan keskellä metsään rajoittuen on Hermian teknologiakeskus, jonka yläpuolella erottuvat omakotialueen katot. Kuvan yläosassa kiiltelee Hervantajärvi.
English: Eastern Hervanta from the air in early autumn. Photo taken towards south. On the right side, the Hervannan valtaväylä main road. On its left-hand (Eastern) side, the building complexes are (form upwards down):
  • a residential area of detached houses (only roofs visible)
  • below a small woods, Hermia technology center, including a large Nokia research complex
  • Tampere University of Technology campus area. A small forest area is visible between Hermia area and TUT as well as between TUT and VTT.
  • VTT research center
  • Finnish Police School and Police College
  • In extreme lower part, Tuulanhovi student dormitories
