Description

The left light depicts St John the Baptist, the centre shows St Anne teaching the Virgin (portrayed as a beautiful young girl) to read. On the right is St Christopher.

The window was given by the Blackburn family, circa 1410. Lower left are Margaret and Nicholas, and on the right another Margaret and Nicholas senior. Note that all the women are reading.
