Summary

English: View along the tracks looking towards the eastern portal of the Central Tunnel. The tunnel is a railway tunnel through the Central Range in Shizi Pingtung and Daren Taitung, and carries the South-Link Line under the Chaliufan Mountain. It became operational when the railway line opened in 1992. With a maximum elevation of 175 metres and length of 8,070 metres, is the longest mountain tunnel and highest point along the South-Link Line.
中文（臺灣）：圖中顯示沿著軌道向中央隧道東口看去。中央隧道是在屏東縣獅子鄉與臺東縣達仁鄉之間一座穿越中央山脈的鐵路隧道，由南迴線從茶留凡山的底下通過。隨著南迴線於1992年開通，中央隧道也一同啟用。整座隧道最高點位於海拔175公尺，其長度8,070公尺，是南迴線最長的山岳隧道。 |
