East Yorks: Seal matrix
Description
English: A copper alloy seal matrix in the shape of a pointed oval (vesica) with well-cut lettering. A small suspension loop at the middle top of the back is intact. Central device is a flowering lily with two birds perched on the lower leaves, bodies facing away from each other but heads turned back over shoulders so that their beaks are pointing towards each other.
