Description

Depicting Saints and ecclesiastics connected with York, including Eborius (Bishop in 314) and Alcuin, scholar and Benedictine monk. The traceries contain the shields of England and France, a reminder that Holy Trinity Priory originated from the French monastery Marmouthier. Glass is by Kempe, 1907. It was his last major work.

In memory of Fanny Potter, Mary Dickinson and George Russell.
