| Description |
English: East Midlands Parkway A new railway station is being built on the Midland main line where it is crossed by the A453. The ostensible benefit is that it will be served by trains to or from all three of Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield, giving more choice, but also reducing the number of passengers needing to access the city centre stations in Derby and Nottingham. A major problem is however the fact that the A453 is already a very congested road. |
