Deutsch: Hauptquartier der East India Company in London, an der Ecke von Leadenhall Street und Lime Street bis 1858. Gebaut 1799-1800 nach den Plänen des Architekten Richard Jupp, nachdem das alte Gebäude abgerissen wurde. Der Eingang mit sechs klassizistischen Säulen hatte drei Skulpturen auf dem Dach: Britannia auf einem Löwen, Europa auf einem Pferd und Asien auf einem Kamel. 1862 wurde das Gebäude abgerissen. |
